About Us

St. Michael’s Golf Club, a top-ranked course in New South Wales, provides the home and heritage for something even bigger, the St. Michael’s Golf Club Foundation.

The Foundation exists to give back. It focuses on supporting junior golf, community programs, education pathways, and initiatives that make the game more accessible, while also helping fund projects that protect and enhance the natural environment around the Club.

Our Mission

The St. Michael’s Golf Club Foundation exists to build a strong, inclusive and connected Club community. We focus on three key pillars that matter most to our members: junior golf, Club community, and the future growth of the Club.

At the heart of the Foundation is junior development. We actively support young golfers through every stage of their journey, helping them grow not only as players but as people. Our programs already include pathway retainers for talented juniors, supportive workshops such as Brett Rumford’s short-game and chipping sessions, and mental and performance sessions with John Novak. We also assist with player transport, tournament entry fees and player registration, making sure no promising young golfer misses an opportunity because of cost or logistics. By investing in our juniors today, we are shaping the future of St. Michael’s Golf Club.

The Foundation is committed to building a strong Club community where members feel supported and connected. This includes assisting long-standing members who may face unexpected challenges later in life, through initiatives such as membership support during times of financial hardship, helping them remain part of the Club they love.

Connection sits at the centre of everything we do. Programs such as our Buddy Program ensure elderly or less mobile members continue to enjoy the course, facilities and social side of the Club, with support from fellow members.

Through its three pillars the St. Michael’s Golf Club Foundation is focused on people, opportunity and belonging. By investing in youth, supporting members, and strengthening the Club for the future, the Foundation is creating lasting impact for today’s members and generations to come.
